A leading, independent planning and development practice
Louise on the BBC Politics Show
Thursday 12th March, 2009
Louise Brooke-Smith, a Director in the Birmingham office was asked by the BBCs Politics Show to take part in two programmes looking at Women and the Recession and particularly asked to comment on the state of the Construction and Development industry
Wearing her RICS hat she specifically advocated the need to encourage more women into the Development industry and better careers advice to schoolchildren to discourage historic stereotyping when it comes to a career choice.
The filming involved interviews with Cherie Blair, Teresa May, Jo Swinson of the LibDems and a live interview with Harriet Harman, Deputy Prime Minister at BBC TV centre, London.
The filming also included shots of staff at the Birmingham office of CSJ and time at a Womens Round Table session at Downing Street.
It is likely that Louise will be asked to comment further once the Equalities Bill is issued later this Summer.
