    Debra Harrison BA (Hons) MPlan (Property Development), Graduate Planner

  • Debra joined CSJ Planning in July 2008 directly from the University of the West of England, following a six week placement with CSJ Planning. Debra assists more senior members of the team with planning appraisals, applications, appeals and the discharge of conditions at post determination stage. She also has responsibility for the submission and management of small scale applications.

    Tom Hemmings BSc (Hons) Geography - Temporary Graduate Planner

  • Tom joined CSJ Brooke•Smith in 2009 after a previous work placement. Prior to this he graduated from The University of Birmingham BSc (Hons) degree in Geography. To continue his education he is studying for an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning (RTPI accredited). Tom assists more senior members of the team with planning applications, appeals and research.

  • Keir joined CSJ Brooke•Smith in 2008 after previous experience in the private sector. Prior to this he graduated from UCE Birmingham with a 1st Class BA (Hons) degree in Town and Country Planning. To continue his education he is studying for a PgDip/MSc in Property Development. Keir’s role involves assisting more senior members of the team with planning appraisals, applications, appeals and the discharge of conditions at post determination stage.

    Ghazala Javed TechRTPI, HNC and a CPSPE - Planning Assistant

  • Ghazala joined CSJ Brooke•Smith in March 2006, following five years at Birmingham City Council. She brings experience of land and estate management, environmental strategies and local planning disciplines. Her role includes assisting with application research and planning appraisals and the preparation of applications, appeal Hearings and Inquiries. In April 2009 Ghazala achieved technical membership of the RTPI.

    Anthony Jones - Temporary Planning Assistant

  • Anthony joined CSJ Brooke-Smith in June 2010 on a part time basis. Whilst working he is currently finishing a BA (Hons) degree in Human Geography at the University of Worcester. To continue his education, Anthony is looking to undertake a MSc in Urban and Regional Planning (RTPI Accredited) next year. Anthony assists more senior members with planning applications, appeals and research.
