CSJ Planning Consultants Limited have been appointed by the Estates Department of Bath Spa University to provide ongoing planning advice on the production of a Masterplan for the Newton Campus site at Newton St Loe and a strategic Masterplan for all landholdings under the control of Bath Spa University in Bath and North East Somerset.
In addition, we are acting as agents and Planning Consultants for the coordination and management of the first phase of the redevelopment of the site which comprises 8,000 m² of new academic space in three buildings and including ane-library and learning centre.
Thesite is extremely sensitive, being based upon a Manor House surrounded by the Capability Brown Grade II* historic landscape, green belt and many listed buildings. The Masterplan will attempt to enhance the landscape through selective redevelopment whilst providing modern bespoke facilities for the University.
